The Extraction tool is not available in photoshop CS4 you can download the plug in from the adobe website, however, theres a trick to fully install it. Ill post a tutorial on that later =D

I'm another guy that loved this film. It's still the best and most beautiful illustration. It's much better than the hollywood crap in illustrating that not everything has a happy ending, not everything works out for the best, but we make do with what we get. We go on living despite what the world throws at us, we adapt and change. And like the cherry blossoms implied in the title, we can drift apart as time passes. Makoto Shinkai has a real eye for beauty, you can see it in all his creations.

GER, this just makes me angry, always cutting down the biggest trees for the profit. It is a fact that 95% of the old growth forests in the US have been cut down, now they are going for the last off the big trees. In 50 years you will need to some special reserve 100 miles away from your house just to see a tree over 6 feet in diameter. why don't they cut down the smaller 2 feet diameter trees that seem to be in the background of every camera shot and leave the big ones.

I agree with oldschoolgonzo there is a great deal of misunderstanding on logging. I am married to a 5th gen. logger and the granddaughter of a 3rd gen. logger. It is controlled and a good thing. Imagine what a forest fire would do without it. Logging is a way of life. Midnight's Children's a lovely book & Rushdie has shown, in the long run, courage standing up to extremism. As for offending religion - even Torah - see Mark Twain, Harlan Ellison, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Anatole France. None of 'em were threatened with death by religious leaders.
